Istanbul Bears organize local and international bear meetings, parties and events for bears, chubs, cubs, chasers and admirers to build well communication between Turkish bears, Kurdish bears and bears from all over the world. Events include the September Autumn Bear Festival with Hammam events and other parties - this past year taking place at Firuzağa Hamamı, Mono Bar, and Cheeky Club.

May 19-22, 2016, the Istanbul Bear Club, Taksim. Istanbul Bears celebration with many event and parties. Past years included Party at the Baths + Opening Party; SAT Home Party; SUN Bear Bar Cocktails.
June 20-26, 2016. Pride Week anual event since 2003 with about 30 people in that first event. Recent marches have attracted up to 30,000 people with a parade from Taksim Square along İstiklal Ave. Police actions dispersed the 2015 event. See KAOS and facebook re: 2016.
February 16-26, 2017. Dedicated to showcasing the best in contemporary film. The festival is curated and based on thematic sections, some of which change every year to reflect issues that are gripping the world's - and filmmakers'- imagination. 112 films from 40 countries in 2016!
