June 18, 2016, 10-11pm at The AllWays Lounge/ Theatre. Teams of burlesque performers will strip in improv burlesque acts to awkward and hilarious music chosen by DJ Ajent O, given an uncomfortable prop to incorporate into their act. Fun, games, prizes, stripping and more, w/ GoGo McGregor, Ladee Lucerne, Nikki LeVillain, Brittani Houghtlen (Cherry Brown), Charlotte Treuse, Frankie Sin.

August 31 - September 5, 2016. Annual Labor Day Weekend celebrations, 100,000+ crowds; around-the-clock street/ dance parties; parade through the French Quarter. Revelers may shock some tourists (much to their delight!). Events include: Big Dick Contest, FRIDAY Parade, Boys on Parade Strip Contest, Outdoor Concert, Hot Ass Contest, SUNDAY Parade, T-Dance, Midnight Party, Closing Party.
September 2, 2015 from 9pm at One Eyed Jacks, 615 Toulouse Street. Dance party for bears & friends. Hundreds of furry guys will dance the night away in the middle of the French Quarter during Southern Decadence. DJs TBA.
September 2, 2016 (TBC), 2-6pm, annual Friday of Southern Decadence Weekend, at 714 France Street. Matt & Dusty's 8th Bear Gathering at their salt water pool, Jacuzzi and fun surroundings, open to 200 guests. Open bar and "rollin' hors d'ouevres." Proceeds to benefit Vet-a-GoGo, pet care on wheels.
September 30 - October 2, 2016 at Gryphon's Nest Campground, Springfield LA. The first Gulf Coast Puppy and Handler Contest events: Puppy 102/102; Handling Mosh; Moshes Moshes, more Moshes; Fire Play 101; Rough Body Play; Mummification; Artistic Needle Play Methods; BootBlacks. GCPaHC winners will receive free lodgings, travel, and entry free for following year contest.

February 24-28, 2017, the all-gay edition of Mardi Gras runs 6 days; non-stop parties/balls; coronation of the King Cake Queen in the French Quarter. Gay balls begin in January. Bourbon Pub is at the center, open 24 hours/7 days a week. Mardi Gras is Tuesday February 28, 2017 Parades fill the streets.
February 28, 2017, 10am-2pm, from Bud Rip's, 900 Piety St. Known for their elaborate/ beautiful costumes, the core group gathers in the Bywater neighborhood each Mardi Gras morning, with the music by the Storyville Stompers brass band. Passing through the Faubourg Marigny and the French Quarter, the parade is joined by additional marchers in costume.

Music stages are located at Jackson Square, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Bourbon St, Royal St, Bienville St, the French Market, St. Mary’s at the Ursuline Convent, and Louisiana State Museum's Old U.S. Mint.
