Annual street festival, the first Sunday of October, with hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations celebrate the diversity of the Castro neighborhood. Stages with live entertainment and dance pavilions too. Proceeds go directly to charitable causes important to the Castro community, and for the rainbow flag at Castro and Market.
Fall, 2015. Queer/ non-Queer arts presenters + diverse group of established Queer performing artists to promote national touring as a strategy to improve the economic condition of cutting-edge LGBT theater, dance and jazz/blues artists. Proposed events will comprise 3 plenary sessions, at least 10 workshops and panel discussions and 20 showcase performances by LGBT performing artists.
