Featuring selected works by photographers Alix Smith, Luke Austin, and Matthew Clowney, HOME examines what happens when artists peer into domestic spaces to document ways the lives of LGBTQ people structure spaces of affirmation/ inclusion family/ intimacy.
April 6 - May 7, 2017, 8pm at Island City Stage. On the morning of the day Jean and Day, a lesbian couple of 12 years, are to be married, their only child, 15-year old Perry, is arrested and charged with date rape. “Son” explores the devastating impact of the event on the family.

Ongoing through June 18, 2017, NSU Art Museum. Taken over a 6-month period at the Bel-Air residence of the late Elizabeth Taylor, the exhibition photographs are drawn from two series: Closets and Jewels, and 700 Nimes Road. Inspired by William Eggleston’s images of Elvis Presley’s Memphis estate, Graceland, they create a portrait of Taylor from her personal space/ mementos.

The third annual one-day festival has yet to be confirmed blending all of South Florida’s delights into one gigantic party in the heart of Miami’s historic Little Havana - stay tuned for updates.
