Pink Iceland takes part in events all year round, adding its Pink touch to them. Whenever there is anything interesting going on Pink Iceland pops-up with fun tours, activities and micro events.

Thursdays Open house

Every Thursday from 8pm at Samtökin '78, Suðurgata 3. Various activities include: DJ Night with Alda Villiljós/ Queer music; literature nights (part Icelandic/ part English); queer foreigners night; board game night; knitting night -- or simply coffee and a friendly chat. Third Wednesday each month from 6pm, Whatever Nights -- queer artists perform, open mic, etc.

December 1-31, 2016. The city comes alive with lights to lift the spirits of those who live in Reykjavík, the northernmost capital of the world. December 31, 2016. Almost every single person in the city takes a box of fireworks just before midnight to blow the old year to bits - then parties till dawn around community bonfires across the city. Kiki Queer Bar will also be having New Years Eve celebrations.

February 9-12, 2017. Amazing nature, nightlife and northern lights + fantastic international and local company. March 1, 2017, annual observance marks the end of beer prohibition in 1989. A total ban on alcohol was relaxed in 1921 for wine and in 1935 for spirits. Icelanders celebrate at various bars, restaurants, and clubs on a rúntur (pub crawl) around town until 4am.
