In Quebec it is the National Day, celebrated with enthusiasm and joy throughout the province. Events take place over several days in different areas, with one main center of focus.
Late June, 2020. Six day annual weekend. Young and upcoming artists exhibit the first two days in booths and tents along Sainte-Catherine E in the Village (between St-Hubert and Papineau) - followed by exhibits by more established artists for the final three days of the event.

July - August, 2020. For 8 summer nights each year the skies fill with fireworks displays from La Ronde on Île Sainte-Hélène; pyrotechnics by masters of the art from around the world, each based on an international theme.

The Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal is the largest comedy festival in the world, attracting 1.25 million visitors every summer -- celebrating their 38th anniversary in 2020!
