Past year featured Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon’s production of Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger’s Starmania Opéra; plus Les Grands Feux Loto-Québec at Paquet Wharf, Lévis. Early September, 2017. Annual, social, political, arts festival, fair, pride parties, entertainment. Past year included Friday Quebec City Pride Festival first parade, 8pm on rue Saint-Jean from Turbull to d’Youville Square. Participants invited to illuminate themselves with bright or luminous accessories. Events at St-Matthew’s, Le Drague, Tequila Lounge, Noctem, TD Scene.
December 27-31, 2017. Grande Allée Traditional music, ferris wheel, urban zipline, heated terraces and outdoor bars. Dec 31st free outdoor party at place de l’Assemblée-Nationale to warm up the crowd with fireworks finale to kick off 2018, and celebrate the 151st anniversary of Canada. Celebrations will extend from the Parliament Building to the Hotel Le Concorde.
January 26 - February 11, 2018 annual winter carnival. Snow sculptures, ice palace, parades, concerts, parties, antics of the Bonhomme's Knuks, general revelry all about the town.
