May 25, 2017, at UFO Factory. A friendly disco lounge hosted by DJs Geoffrey LaRue and Bill Spencer on the fourth Thursday of most months. No cover all night + half-off Laika Dog prices.
June 3, 2017, 1-4pm. Neighborhood pride events. Street festival on W Nine Mile Rd, events and activities throughout the week. Ferndale Chamber's 5k rainbow run, 2k Fun Run, Rosie O' Grady's Sun morning drag show, Ferndale's bars/ clubs' parties + food and shopping. Attracts 10,000 - 15,000 participants yearly; join the fun, show your LGBTQA pride and love.
June 10-11, 2107. Annual Pride festivities at Hart Plaza in downtown Motor City, with Sunday noon parade, riverside festival, five stages of live entertainment, beer garden, picnic, and more. See more info at their facebook pages and website:
July 15, 2017, 9pm at Menjos/ Olympus Theatre, 928 W McNichols Rd. DJ Ryan Jones (Los Angeles). $5 all night. Upgraded with Growlr.
August 12-13, 2017, at Riverfront Festival Plaza in Downtown Windsor. One of the largest Pride festivals in SW Ontario also draws attendees from throughout the region, nearby communities and out-of-town visitors from Michigan and Ohio. Late August, 2017 (TBC). The Saturday Pride Parade steps off at noon from Adado Riverfront Park, continuing through Downtown Lansing, to end in front of the state Capitol Building - with contingents from around the state, floats, vehicles, walkers, entertainment and much more.
