February 3, 2017, 9pm-1am, at Underground Bar, 6a John St, Glasgow. Chat up old friends, meet new faces, 1st Fridays each month, as popular DJ Corky spins favorite tunes. The BearScots gang will be on hand to say hello and hand out a wee sweet treat. The party will keep you entertained 9pm til the wee small hours. February 27- March 4, 2017, at King's Theatre. Based on his smash hit film/ adapted for stage by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, the hilarious and heartfelt production stars Gary Lucy, Andrew Dunn, Louis Emerick, Chris Fountain, Anthony Lewis, Kai Owen + a cast of 14. Directed by Jack Ryder. Standing ovations every night, it won the UK Theatre Award for best touring production.
February 15-26, 2017 at Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose St. Twelve days of international film screening; this past year featuring seven titles for LGBT audiences from Glasgow Film, in association with Outspoken Arts.
March 9-26, 2017. World-class comedy in Glasgow for over a decade; the 15th year. Top comedy stars from around the UK and beyond will be coming just to entertain you for 18 days, 420 shows at 42 different venues, complemented by the very best of home-grown Scottish talent for a comedy extravaganza that makes this Europe’s largest comedy festival.
March 15-19, 2017, at Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose St. With five days of screenings this past year, the largest competitive short film festival in Scotland, returned for a tenth year to champion new international film talent and celebrate diverse forms of cinematic expression.
August 19-20, 2017 (TBC), Festival with main stage entertainment, fun fair, cabaret stage, community expo, bars, marketplace, safe trans and VIP space. Saturday Parade to start from Glasgow Green at noon and return to Glasgow Green by about 1pm. Headliner acts on Pride Glasgow stage on Saturday.
October 12-15, 2017 (TBC), in Edinburgh. Keep the weekend open for events including a dance party for bears, cubs and friends.
December 31, 2017 noon-10pm, New Year's Eve traditional celebrations with street processions, parties, fireworks and live music concerts. Part of Winter Festivals events beginning with St Andrew's Day, November 30th, through Hogmanay, to Burns Night, January 25, 2018.
