Music of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen - interpreting Middle Eastern folk music through cultural/ musical backgrounds as diverse as Brooklyn itself, a contemporary spin on a traditional Arabic repertoire.

DIVAFEST 2018

March 10-12 + 17-19, 2018 at Indy Eleven Theatre + Basile Theatre. Female voices hone their craft with new writers, works and performing companies, plus established playwrights. IndyFringe received 16 entries from as far away as New York and as close as Indianapolis. A juried process is used to select the best to present at the festival over two weekends in mid-March.
