September 2-7, 2015. Annual Labor Day Weekend celebrations, 100,000+ crowds; around-the-clock street/ dance parties; parade through the French Quarter. Revelers may shock some tourists (much to their delight!). Events include: Big Dick Contest, FRIDAY Parade, Boys on Parade Strip Contest, Outdoor Concert, Hot Ass Contest, SUNDAY Parade, T-Dance, Midnight Party, Closing Party.

February 4-9, 2016, the all-gay version of Mardi Gras lasts longer. (Isn't it always the case?) There's non-stop partying, and the main event is the coronation of the King Cake Queen in the French Quarter. Bourbon Pub is at the center of it all, open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
