The retractable roof makes this an all-season patio (with a mist that cools you off during the summer months!). The wooden slats and exposed brick give the patio a loft-like feeling. Soak up the sun while snacking on burgers and beer at the Hello Bar, or snag a seat at a picnic table and join us for weekend brunch.
Home-style comforts with a focus on Americana and international flavours are what we’re known for, from house-made gourmet burgers (we make our patties from scratch, in-house, everyday!) to pasta and bowls to healthy options to vegetarian dishes.
Along with our wine and beer offerings, our bar menu features boozy shakes, and frozen cocktails – and don’t forget to take a spin at the $5 Shot Wheel!
In 1940, Francis “Fran” Deck opened Fran’s Restaurant, a modest, ten-stool diner at Yonge and St. Clair.
Over the years, Fran’s has become famous for several dishes, most notably the Banquet Burger, which Fran Deck invented in 1940. Comfort food classics that remain a tradition include Fran’s award-winning rice pudding and homemade apple pie!
Fran’s remains a family-owned and operated Toronto institution known for its home-style cooking and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
