October 20-22, 2017. The annual film festival of three days. A Louisville-based group dedicated to promoting and showcasing nearly 150 films and LGBT media for the Kentuckiana Area. Screenings at the Village 8 Theaters.
October 21 + 28, 2017, 9pm at Play. Put on your fishnets, lace up your corsets and come out on Oct 21st and/or 28th as Acting Against Cancer rings in the Halloween season with a live presentation of The Rocky Horror Show and costume contest for the fourth year! A full-scale acting, singing and dancing performance (not a Shadow Show) to help the American Cancer Society.
November 9-19, 2017. Redefining Family. Marvin struggles to create a family from an eclectic array of core relationships after leaving his wife and young son to live with another man. His ex-wife marries his psychiatrist, and Marvin ends up alone. Just as AIDS begins its insidious spread he is forced to reckon with his views on love, responsibility, and what it means to be a man.
December 16, 2017, 7:30pm at Ursuline Arts Center, 3113 Lexington Rd, Louisville. An evening of music dedicated to old memories and new traditions of our LGMC family. The 2017-2018 concert season: A Family Afair. With LGMC’s 5th Anniversary Season concert lineup - a non-auditioned community chorus. Next: Feb 10, 2018, 7pm Cabaret/ Silent Auction at Play; May 8th - We are Family.
February 15-18, 2018 Over 850+ guests from around the world will attend the 7th annual North American Bear Weekend at the beautiful Marriott Griffin Gate Resort/ Spa! Our circus-themed event will definitely be over the top, but expect the same level of southern hospitality from the Kentucky Bourbon Bears for another exciting 4-day weekend of fun, fur, and frolic!
June 15-16, 2018 (TBC). Parade through downtown Louisville, down Main St from Floyd to 5th, ends at the Belvedere Riverfront Plaza/Park. Festival/ concert at the Belvedere w/ 100+ vendors, entertainment on two stages.
