2014 Iowa Arts Festival

June 6-8, 2014. Weekend- long festival, over 125 local and national artists, live music and entertainment on two stages, Culinary Row serving regional and ethnic foods, and an Emerging Artist Area featuring upcoming student artists. June 13-14, 2014. See website for this year's info. Last year included: Friday Picnic in the Park 5-9pm, Upper City Park; Saturday Pride Festival, Downtown Ped Mall noon-6pm; Pride Parade  noon-1pm  walk, ride, skate, dance, roll - from College Green Park (600 E College St), to downtown Iowa City Ped Mall.
The 8th Annual
The Landlocked Film Festival 2014

Takes place mid-August, each year, at the Englert Theatre. Independent movies from around the world screen in Iowa City’s historic downtown -- from two minutes to two hours long, artsy experimentation to outrageous comedy, family stories to heartbreaking drama, hard-hitting documentaries, music videos and amazing animation.
