October 5-15, 2017. Eleven-day International Fantastic Film Festival - in its 50th yeat - the number one fantasy film festival in the world, also the Catalonian cultural event with the most media impact. The Sitges Festival is a stimulating mix of encounters, exhibitions, presentations and fantasy film screenings from all over the world.
February 6-14, 2018. Annual festivities before the start of Lent. Thousands of costumed revelers, dozens of floats. THU: Arrival of the King and Queen w/ opening spectacular and parade. FRI: Venetian Gala Ball, SAT: Crazy Bed Race, SUN: Debauchery Parade, TUE: Extermination Parade, and finally, on Ash Wednesday, The Burial of the King. Huge crowds, many parties.

Sunday street parade 5pm on the paseo (starts from Kansas Restaurant on Psg Maritimo), involving most of the many gay bars and businesses of this beach resort; daily entertainment at the Gay Pride Village (including daily Tea Dance from 5pm), concerts, dancing, cabaret shows, dance parties and more events around town at the clubs.
