Friday + Saturday every week at Cube, Bailey’s Corner Arcade from 10pm. DJs Pete and Tom Hathaway alternate weeks with club tracks to keep you dancing untl 5am. Also: Thursday nights with DJ Pete; 0 Week Wednesday College Nights with no cover charge; and special holiday party nights.

Third Sundays, 4-8pm at Fusion Yoga Studio, Narrabundah. The evening includes Prasad shared meal in a pleasant garden with open fires. Cushions and chairs provided. Bring special stools you prefer to sit on as well as favourite musical instruments, and a plate of vegetarian food to share. Singing and chanting, primarily in Sanscrit (words are written on a whiteboard).

September 9-13, 2021. Headline performances from the nation's best cultural personalities; DJs Showgirls, Bio Queens, Drag Queens, Drag Kings from every corner of Australia's diverse community. Three stages: comedy, cabaret, live music, social activities pay homage to this iconic cult movie/ musical. Town Square Main Drag In Drag street parade w/ entire community of Broken Hill.

October, 2021. Palace Cinemas presents a three-week selection of the best new films from Italy. Screening in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Byron Bay and Melbourne. With Australian premieres, heartfelt dramas and hilarious comedies, cinemagoers will be transported  to Rome, Naples, Palermo, and beyond. All non-English language films have English subtitles.

October - November, 2021, annual three-week Canberra Queer Cultural Festival - live music, drag shows, competitions, speakers, march, rally, queer ball, film, picnics, workshops, awards, concert, and more. Includes November Bushdance at Yarralumla Woolshed, 208 Cotter Rd, Yarralumla - an 18+ fun night of dancing with people of all flavours.

November 20, 2021, 7:30pm-1am at the Yarralumla Woolshed. Part of the Canberra SpringOUT Pride Festival. Slip on your dancing boots, your favourite country shirt and your very best hat, and come and join the fun! An 18+ event. Bushdance 2020 had to be cancelled.

March - April, 2022 (TBC) at Palace Electric Cinema. Annual screenings - the largest festival dedicated to French films in the world. Past year included films: Aline, Calamity, une enfance de Martha Jane Cannary, Été 85, J'irai où tu iras, L'homme qui a vendu sa peau, Miss, Un divan à Tunis, Un triomphe, Un vrai bonhomme, and more....

April 14-18, 2022 (TBC) at the Exhibition Park in Canberra, Flemington Road, Mitchell, ACT. Easter weekend cultural celebration of traditional and contemporary music, dance, poetry and storytelling in the nation's capital. From traditional and contemporary grooves to the quirky and the endearing, almost 200 different acts give you a non-stop flow of entertainment + 90 market stalls.
