Cairns Tropical Pride

October, 2020. The end of an era. Cairns Tropical Pride, born in 2006, one of the longest continually running pride festivals in Australia is over. The Cairns Tropical Pride Festival Committee and members voted to close the association down for 2019 and 2020. Sydney Mardi Gras or Big Gay Day Brisbane are now the pride ‘fix’ for the year for community locals.
