June 8-10, 2018, annual Texas Hill Country festival on the grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse, 35 miles north of San Antonio. The festival features arts, crafts, and local lavender product vendors, plus tours of many nearby lavender farms, food, and cooking demonstrations too.
June 30, 2018 )TBC) The Bigger Than Texas Parade & Festival features singers, musicians and drag entertainers, near gay bars around N Main Ave and W Laurel St, in the main grounds of Crocket Park (1300 N Main Ave) 3pm-midnight. The parade normally takes place at 9pm; the High Heel Race kicks off just before. Weekly Sunday BEER BUSTS at Club Essence, 1010 N Main.
