Clinging to a masquerade of Southern grace, Blanche DuBois moves into her sister’s cramped apartment, creating all the wrong sparks with her brother-in-law. Dark truths about Blanche’s past collide with stark realites of the present, spiralling into violence, degradation and madness. Sung in English/ English supertitles.
April 29, 2016, 8pm at the Cubberley Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto. Solo show based loosely on the history of India under the British Empire. Many very funny episodes, sketches, characters from Mughal India to modern India are explored by a cowardly Indian man under the influence- the British influence, in a rollicking laugh a minute concert.
