Amaluna invites the audience to a mysterious island governed by Goddesses, guided by the cycles of the moon - with rites that honor femininity, renewal, rebirth, and balance, and the passing of insights and values from one generation to the next.
February 19-22, 2015. Each year after Fat Tuesday, "Let Us Entertain You" began as thanks to New Orleans post-Mardi Gras. Once Levi/leather BDSM, now welcomes all. Events: LUEY Run, TFL Hat Contest, Bar Hop, "Show of Shows," "Unofficial After Party," meals & more. Mardi Gras this year: Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
June 13-21, 2015, annual week of events. Lots of food, music & festivities. Saturday night June 20th Pride Parade, formerly on Westheimer Rd, moves to downtown to Milam St, Walker St to Smith St then left to continue down Smith until just after Andrew St. Festival around City Hall, Herman Square + Tranquility Park, with 200+ exhibitors and attendance of over 75,000 people.
July, 2015, annual 5-day LGBT film festival at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Aurora Picture Show, and The Houston Museum of African American Culture. This past year saw 30 events and screenings focusing on the queer experience. See website for schedule details for upcoming screenings.
