August 13, 2016, Annual Parade, Rally, & Festival. The largest LGBTQIA festival representing NE Ohio (Greater Cleveland/Akron/Canton). Parade: staging area Ontario St between St Clair and Lakeside Ave, proceeding east down Lakeside Ave to E 9th north to Al Lerner Way (R+R Hall of Fame). Staging area 10amto step off at noon. Festival food, beverages, dancing, and stage entertainment.
November 18 - December 11, 2016 at Main Stage Theatre. Thoreau went to jail for refusing to pay taxes to a government conducting a war of aggression in Mexico. Scenes of his return from Harvard, his attempt to establish a transcendentalist school; as handyman/ tutor in his idol Emerson's household; and his romance and friendship with an illiterate cellmate.
March 29 - April 9, 2017, Tower City Cinemas, Tower City Center in Downtown Cleveland. Browse their online archive for a upcoming films, plus a complete listing of those that have played in the previous 38 years of festivals. Typically at least 300 films from approximately 60 countries are showcased, along with over 200 visiting feature & short subject filmmakers.
April, 2017 (TBC). A weekend of leather & fetish parties at Mean Bull/Flex and The Leather Stallion Saloon, workshops & vendor mart. Past year In Independence at the Holiday Inn, Cleveland South, 6001 Rockside Rd and Cleveland Rockside, 5800 Rockside Wods Rd.
