Funds raised by HIV Walk New Mexico & 5K Fun Run 2015 support organizations that provide treatment, medication, prevention education, meals, housing, mental health services, child care, substance abuse counseling, pastoral care, and research to those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

October 6-15, 2017 (TBC), at the Guild Cinema. 10 days, screening over 100 features, shorts and documentaries in over 50 programs, representing over 20 countries, hosting an array of guests and filmmakers. With typical attendance of 4,000, SWGLFF is one of the top LGBTQ film festivals in the Southwest, celebrating their 15th annual event in 2017.
October 7-15, 2017 annual event from 6am daily at Balloon Fiesta Park, Balloon Fiesta Blvd (Alameda Blvd). Beautiful, magical sights as literally hundreds of hot air balloons, sail silently through crisp fall air. Afterglow fireworks. Guests from all over the world come to celebrate ballooning.
