November 7-22, 2014, Evjue Stage. In 1895, the Marquis of Queensberry, father of Wilde’s young lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, made the “posing somdomite” accusation and Wilde sued him for libel. Wilde’s “gross indecency” trials followed. The off-Broadway hit uses primary source materials to recreate the tragic fall of London's once-reigning wit.

December 5-7, 2014. at Overture Hall. Featuring the Madison Symphony Chorus, Madison Youth Choirs, and the Mt. Zion Gospel Choir. Pianist Ingrid Fliter joins the MSO, performing Chopin’s Concerto No. 2 for Piano. The program also includes works by Schumann and Britten, along with Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Shostakovich's Symphony No. 6 and Nielson's Inextinguishable.

The Nutcracker

December 13 - 27, 2014 at Overture Center. Follow Clara and her Nutcracker as they travel one wintry night to a brilliant garden filled with characters to delight the young and young at heart. Madison Ballet welcomes Maestro Andrew Sewell and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra to bring Tchaikovsky’s rich score to life, a perfect backdrop for W Earle Smith’s dynamic choreography.

Mid August, 2015, (to be confirmed). Last year's parade began at Central Park, continued down Ingersol to Williamson Street, up Willy and Wilson Streets, then up King to Capitol Square.
