October 7-17, 2021. Ten-day International Fantastic Film Festival - in its 53rd year - the number one fantasy film festival in the world, also the Catalonian cultural event with the most media impact. The Sitges Festival is a stimulating mix of encounters, exhibitions, presentations and  fantasy film screenings from all over the world.

February 24 - March 2, 2022. Annual festivities before the start of Lent. Thousands of costumed revelers, dozens of floats. THU: Arrival of the King and Queen w/ opening spectacular and parade. FRI: Venetian Gala Ball, SAT: Crazy Bed Race, SUN: Debauchery Parade, TUE: Extermination Parade, and finally, on Ash Wednesday, The Burial of the King. Huge crowds, many parties.

April 10-16, 2022. Many bars closed since Carnival reopen. Bars, clubs and restaurants get busy in weeks around Easter. Traditional Palm Sunday and Good Friday parades + Lady Diamond’s Easter Hunt Party, Easter Sunday at Parrots Pub.
