April 15 - May 7, 2015 at noon, at Constellations, 37-39 Greenland St, Liverpool. Fifteen bands/singers, drawn from what is expected to be over a 100 applicants, will battle it out to play this summer’s Liverpool Pride, Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) and Liverpool Loves festivals.
April 24, 2015, at Circo, the Albert Dock. Eight hours of hits, tricks and more at Liverpool's circus-themed venue. The night celebrates the music of Stock/ Aitken/ Waterman, the trio behind hits from Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Rick Astley, Bananarama, Sonia, Sinitta and Donna Summer to name a few. August 1, 2015. Dress in wild and wonderful interpretations of this year's theme. Pier Head festival site ticketed main stage, dance tent and 100-seat cinema. Also free community zone entertainment, activities and speakers; a family-friendly event with all ages encouraged to attend. Pride March remains a major part of the day’s activity, through the streets of the city center.
August 26 - September 1, 2015. The annual International Beatleweek Festival celebrates the music of the most famous pop group ever known. August 27-31, 2015. Liverpool welcomes artists, creatives and music-lovers to Summer Jam, transforming Sefton Park into a fun, free, alfresco party across acres of meadows with some big names in music, such as Basement Jaxx, Labrinth and local heroes Echo and the Bunnymen with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra; also Katy B, Naughty Boy, Laura Mvula, Becky Hill and more.
October - January, 2015-2016, Homotopia, based in Liverpool, is the country's foremost LGBT art & cultural festival. Eclectic program includes new commissions, festival firsts, world Premieres, many events of visual arts, theater, film, debate, dance, literature, live art & more.
