Legendary New York drag artist LADY BUNNY would turn heads even if looking glamorous was her only talent. A true icon in drag HERstory, Lady Bunny’s first performance in N Ireland.
July 26 - August 4, 2019. Belfast Pride week includes a festive Saturday afternoon parade and Pride Village events. Ireland’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival and ranks among the top ten largest Pride parades in the UK! celebrating diversity throughout ten days, featuring a diverse program of events that represent our community.
September 27 + 28, 2019, at the Limelight Belfast. Tourby Melanie C and Sink The Pink - a Spice Girl and a nightclub-turned-movement, who have always taken the road less trodden in their own fierce, fearless ways. The one-off show includes all the hits, a sequined catsuit (with added Addias, of course), and four extra Spices in drag.
Mid-August, 2019. Past year included SAT 2pm Parade from Waterside Train Station to the Guildhall Square. Parade followed by live music on Main Stage at The Guildhall Square and a family fun day in the Peace Garden. Hitmen and Her, Encore Choir and Patrick McDonagh will be headlining - so plenty going on to shake your hips to!
August 31, 2019, Saturday Parade with full program of events the preceding week. Past year Pride Ball took place at Bellini’s, Monaghan St w/ Entertainment + Buffet. Pride In Newry has been chosen to host the 2019 UK and Ireland Pride Festival and Parade.
September 20-21, 2019 weekend. Belfast's largest, most exciting and inclusive cultural celebration brings together over 300 free events across 150 locations in Belfast City Centre in a single day, attracting over 85,000 visitors. A ten-day short film competition that aspires to support the talent of tomorrow, offer a voice for fledging filmmakers and create a platform where great untold stories can be shared. Screening over 50 of the most creative, entertaining and visionary short films from across the island of Ireland.
