Highlights typically include parties, parades and protests across a 9-day period: Pride Pink Party; Cozy Pool Party; Women’s Space and Men’s Night, SAT Mardi Gras Carnival 12-8pm at Green Point Urban Park.
March 16, 2019. Carnival + mother of all street parades. Streets light up with colour, music and dance, celebratiing South African identity; showcasing diverse communities and cultures. Green Point Fan Walk food and crafts from 3pm. Saturday 7pm Parade with 2,000+ costumed performers/ musicians on Fan Walk, with magical floats/ vibrant dance routines; followed by thumping street party.

May 30 - June 2, 2019 - NEW date at new venue TBA. Men of all shapes, colors, sizes, and abilities come together to build/ foster a stronger bear community. In past year: 300 bears, cubs, and admirers, poolside games, prizes, shows (Bear Style), Mr BEARFEST contest, karaoke, vendor market, paint ball wars, quad biking, volleyball, excursions. Tickets limited to 300.
Mid-December, 2019, 7pm-4am. Since 1994 a highlight of the Cape Town gay calendar, now with a cult following of fun-loving creatures, SA’s biggest dress-up party. The theme is set each December, creating a universe where partygoers can unleash creative alter-egos, unrestricted by conventions with original, innovative, and fabulous outfits for a moment in the limelight.
