Monthly Saturdays, 8-10:30pm at Husets Biograf, Rådhusstræde 13. The ULTIMATE cult film experience; the movie to which all others are compared. A rock musical, a horror film, a celebration of sexual multiplicity as well as a founding artifact of the punk revolution. The St John's Eve celebration of Sankt Hans or Midsummer night is a popular Nordic tradition that takes place every year around the Summer Solstice, June 21st, the longest day of the year. August 18-23, 2020 - The annual Saturday Parade and Pride Square shows, food and refreshments at Rainbow Square (Regnbuepladsen)/ Rådhuspladsen, City Hall Plaza and the 1pm Parade from Frederiksberg Town Hall, via Vesterbrogade to Copenhagen City Hall Square will not take place this year. MIX 2020

October 23 - November 1, 2020 at Cinemateket. Annual 10-day LGBT film fest: the very best of international gay and queer films at the world's longest running gay and lesbian film festival. See their website or fb for Covid-19 updates, past film programs, venue details, and special film screenings.
Denmark's biggest feature film festival + concerts & performances

Mid-November, 2020 (TBC) at Cinemateket + other venues. Latest in cinematic breakthroughs each year. Sampling some of the best, bravest, most eye-opening films from around the world. Also paying tribute to new talent as 10 debuting directors compete for the New Talent Grand PIX award, and a 10,000 euro prize. Screenings of over 200 films, including some with LGBTQ themes.

IFEMA International Female Film Festival Malmö

Mid-February 2021. The 15th edition of the festival at Cinema Panora in Malmö and venues in Skåne. Past year's films: In Between by Anna Lönn Franko; VAI by Nicole Whippy; Charter by Amanda Kernell; TheFever by Maya Da-Rin; Hava, Maryam, Ayesha by Sahraa Karimi; Being Impossible by Patricia Ortega; Made in Bangladesh by Rubaiyat Hossai. Early March, 2021, (TBC). Three-day bash of dance, music and performance, indulging in deep, playfully obsessive attention: Choreographic works are poems. Highly performative concerts. Copenhagen Carnival 2021

May 29-30. 2021 (TBC) at Fælledparken, Østerbro. Weekend folk festival stage shows w. food, drinks vendors, parades through city streets on SAT May 29th, star parade with three major Carnival Trucks: Soca truck Cph, Mardi Gras Truck and Salvador Truck. A massive celebration of equality and diversity in Copenhagen and Malmö
WorldPride Copenhagen 2021

August 12-22, 2021. Hundreds of thousands of people will gather in Copenhagen and Malmö to celebrate. Late FRI afternoon kick-off in Ophelia Square, central Copenhagen, harbor front w/ extensive stage show artists performing/ combined with nearby sporting activities. This is going to be the most inclusive sports event ever
EuroGames 2021

August 18-20, 2021. An LGBTI+ inclusive sporting event including 29 different sports, all with their own tournaments, across Copenhagen and Malmö - expecting more than 5,000 athletes. Registration will open in the summer of 2020. Besides EuroGames, Copenhagen 2021 will host a Sports Leader Conference and a public program Sports to the People.
