Each parade reflects neighborhood characteristics, and themes critique society at large, the famous and powerful, using humor and irony.
February 25 - March 7, 2017. Three days docked in Rio de Janeiro for the most flamboyant event in the world, thenl sail through the best of South America onboard the luxurious Oceania Regatta. The most original gay cruise of 2017 is limited to 684 guests. Ports of call: Parati, Santos and Porto Belo, Brazil; Punta del Este + Montevideo, Uraguay; and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
April 19-30, 2017, at various venues. A 12-day window onto new kinds of films: those being made around the world that never reach commercial cinemas. Special sections for new films, retrospectives and classics, plus the opportunity to encounter celebrities who come to take part in the event.

Taking place as part of the city's Buenos Aires Diversa initiative - promoting the city as Latin America's preferred destination for the LGBTIQ demographic, due to the progressive legislation, policies and cultural activities to be found here. October 9-21, 2017. Every 2 years, a 2-week celebration featuring national and international productions of varied styles/ genres, outdoor performances, workshops, roundtables, and dialogues with creators; also book releases, film screenings and visual art exhibitions; the Germán Rozenmacher Award for New Drama Writing, and meetings between local artists and foreign programmers.
Early November 2017, 6 days of screenings representative of values pursued by Argentine society: plurality, respect for diversity and new and broader concepts of the meaning of family. Shorts and feature films present stories that account for the reality of LGBTIQ lives, with multiple and varied themes; space for debate and reflection to expand the dialogue concerning sexual diversity.
November 13-19, 2017 (TBC). Dancing the tango without fixed gender roles - not geared exclusively to same-sex couples, but to everyone who supports this concept; to promote respect for diversity and tango for all. Takes place in the main halls of Buenos Aires, and includes the city's most important teachers, dancers and Tango orchestras.
Early November 2017. Usually celebrated on the first Saturday of November, since 1992. Gays, lesbians, transvestites and transsexuals march in Buenos Aires each year, recalling 1969 events at Stonewall in NYC, and commemorating the creation of Nuestro Mundo, the first gay group in Argentina, founded in 1967.
