Roman Maeder + Remo Keller - MAKE FIESTA, NOT SIESTA!
MILK and WODKA's LUZ y SONIDO

November 22 - January 10, 2015, at Gallery Daeppen. A colorful parallel universe where snowmen pee in the snow, and Japanese Rastafarians play tubas in Bollywood. Inspired by Mexican street fiestas and midnight concerts in Roman catacombs - a psychedelic dance of masks - uninhibited, anarchistic and mercilessly romantic, deafening punk Mandalas/ explosive ethno-kitsch escapades.

A film by Marcel Gisler
ELECTROBOY

November 23, 2014, 5pm, at Kult.Kino. Swiss film in German. Documentary exploration of the life of Florian Burkhardt. From gay teenager in a religious Swiss family, to mental patient, to super model, to electronic musician and party organizer - a film so atuned to both our times and these specific family dynamics, as to transcend an otherwise simple, personal story of one man's life.

A private collection between Mannerism and Surrealism
For Your Eyes Only

Ongoing through April 1, 2015, at Kunstmuseum. The collection juxtaposes secular works of art with erotic and religious art from the Middle Ages to the present; Renaissance and Baroque master drawings share space with the arcane worlds of Surrealist painting; eccentric visions of the 18th century encounter the fantastic artifices of Mannerism; Symbolism and Pop Art meet on common ground.
