Rio Gay Pride Parade 2017 - Cancelled

In 2017 there will be no official gay pride weekend as new organizers overhaul things in preparation for events in 2018. Look for announcements in late 2017. The Gay Pride Sunday Parade at Copacabana Beach which had been scheduled for November 2016, instead took place in December with over 600 thousand people on Avenida Atlântic, thanks to a last minute contribution of funds.
