The Fire Island Pines Arts Project has promoted and highlighted the arts for over 25 years, offering musical revenues, shows, including live performances by renowned musicians, singers, and comedians, curated film exhibitions, and artist salons - also biennial art shows featuring local visual artists. Four-day annual BEAR weekend featuring: Beards+Bears Welcome Party w/ DJ Ted Bishop, at Cherrys On The Bay; BEAR ASS TEA pool/ dance party at The Belvedere; Private Pines VIP Clothing-Optional Pool Party; MR. FIRE ISLAND BEAR CONTEST at Cherry's On The Bay; Main Event RUFFHOUSE NYC at Ice Palace w/ DJs Mike Swells + James Cerne; DWORLD Underwear Party at Ice Palace.

June 13, 2021, 12-4pm at Lakeside Theatre, Eisenhower Park. A pre-ticketed live concert event that will require all attendees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. See details at:

July 4, 2021 Independence Day Weekend dance, noon-4pm, the first of the three big summer Fire Island Pines summer parties. The annual invasion of the Pines by Cherry Grove drag queens and their entourage on Saturday. Parade through Pines harbor, then dance at the Sip n' Twirl in the Pines and at the Ice Palace in the Grove (TBC). See website for updated details:

July 23-25, 2021. Annual weekend FUNDRAISER. The Pines Foundation helps preserve, protect and enhance the quality of life in this environmentally-sensitive community, supporting cultural activities and the maintenance of the Whyte Hall Community Center. The Pines Foundation also supports the preservation of the community’s fragile seashore. See website:

May, 2022. Events have included FRI: Meet and greet; Buffet dinner + Master/Slave Charity Auction; Underwear party; Bay State Marauders cocktail party. SAT: Philadelphians cocktail hour; Demonstration; Buffet lunch; Boston Ducks Cigar deck cocktails; dinner; 10pm Fire Island leather competition at Ice Palace Nightclub; Victory Round. SUN: Brunch + Closing awards. 2021 events cancelled.
