A five-channel video installation and related sculptures by New York–based printmaker, sculptor, and filmmaker Marie Lorenz, who uses the tide to navigate, explore, and document urban waterways in boats she builds by hand. Launch Party: Friday, July 1, 2016, 6-9pm.

June 10 + 12, 2016, at Shea’s Performing Arts Center/ Buffalo Theatre, “SHOT!” by Persis Vehar about the 1901 Buffalo assassination of President William McKinley. Founded in 2004, the Nickel City Opera is Buffalo’s only major opera company producing full-scale operas, complete with costumes, sets and full orchestra.
