September 2, 2020, 7pm. A child of prosperous millennial-generation Iranian immigrants, Parvis tries to escape Hildesheim provincial life with pop culture, grindr-dates and raves. Caught shoplifting, he does community service in a refugee shelter, and meets Iranian siblings Banafshe and Amon. Their fragile relationship is increasingly tinged with awareness that their futures are unequal.
September 2, 2020, 9pm. Wye and her Vogue sisters dance on the Port Authority bus station steps. Paul, stranded in New York, watches, attracted by her beauty and elegance. He dares to make the first move, and Wye takes him to meet her queer adopted family in the ballroom community, and then to her house. Realizing Wye is trans, Paul must question his ideas about identity and gender.
September 3, 2020, 6:10pm. The tall, gaunt, young Iya has protected the son of her friend Masha during the war, but she has an attack of shock, causing a tragic accident. Learning her son is dead, Masha demands that Iya pay her debt. A devastating story of the horrors of war from a female perspective, but also a most unusual non-heterosexual love story.
September 3, 2020, 9pm. Loving his grandmothers in need of care, but longing for a different life, Markus daydreams. Swarms of iridescent demons appear as harbingers of a queer urban family. Falling in love with Duc makes everything more complicated - his boxes are already packed for the move. Then a non-normative plan liberates him from conservative constraints of sexuality and gender.
September 4, 2020, 7pm. Soon after completing school, nineteen year-old Jonna leaves her small town life behind for the capital, Helsinki. LIfe in the big city is good, until one night after leaving a gay bar she is attacked by a male stranger. Saved by Piki, a 30-year-old butch woman, Jonna discovers she's fallen in love with her saviour.
September 4, 2020, 9pm. Hampus and Adrian split up from a long-term relationship. Hampus is relieved: hurt and disappointed by his ex all too often. But Adrian grieves deeply, not knowing how to go on. Even after both find new partners, he cannot forget the love of his life. Swedish director David Färdmar shows shards of a broken relationship and quiet hopes for new beginnings.

He and Gillian, a student he meets at a queer party, share a spark - but she thinks he's a trans man, and he doesn't dare correct her. This leads to some amusing misunderstandings among her friends.
September 5, 2020, 7:10pm. Erika and Tine, both 81 and a couple for 40 years, live on a Brandenburg farm they restored themselves. In the GDR era they always had to fight for their personal and artistic freedom. In this documentary film they take a humorous look back, contextualising and contradicting the Stasi police files with memories, photos, paintings, sculptures and texts.

September 5, 2020, 9pm. In 1981, like all white young men, Nicholas Van der Swart must serve two years in the military, defending against communists, perverts and black people. That Nicholas is gay must remain a secret, as any moffie found among the troops is brutally harassed. But then, falling in love with fellow soldier Dylan, Nicholas finds he is now one of the deviants.
September 6, 2020, 4:30pm. Eleven-year-old Emma had always thought of her family as being like everyone else's - until her father Thomas outed himself, declaring he wanted to live as a woman. As Thomas became ever more elegantly dressed, the relationship between them changed - leading Emma to understand that sometimes change can be the most normal aspect of human affairs.
September 6, 2020, 6:30pm. In the Russian Jewish community of Brighton Beach a yeshiva student discovers clues to his sexuality in a most unlikely place, moving in with his widowed grandfather. As boys his age try to pick up girls, he is left awkwardly alone. With cues for queer audiences to pick up on, other men check out the boy, before his ecstatic loss of virginity to one of them.
September 6, 2020, 9pm. Twenty-year-old Jaime stabs his best friend to death during a night of drinking. Sent to prison he is put in a group cell run by Potro, the stallion, who, as Jaime's protector, makes him a prince. In return he expects loyalty and sex. The relationship fulfils Jaime's need for affection and belonging, but then a brutal power struggle breaks out.

April - May, 2021 (TBC) at Cannstatter Wasen Stuttgart, Mercedesstraße. Europe’s biggest spring beer festival, the little brother of the Cannstatter Volksfest with funfair, Beer gardens and food tents at the festival grounds, and partying in the clubs - also flea markets and fireworks displays - a major tourist attraction.
