March 17 - April 13, 2021 at Palace James St and Palace Barracks. Annual three weeks of screenings - the largest festival dedicated to French films in the world. The 2020 event was cut short due to Covid-19. The 2019 edition attracted more than 195,000 spectators.

September 14-21, 2021. The reimagined telling of a favourite tale. Young dancers in colourful costumes tell of a courageous boy, a lovable grandpa, a rascally wolf, an unlucky duck and a graceful bird. In Greg Horsman's contemporary twist, Peter, a scout, goes with his grandfather to the zoo. An extended version of the Sergei Prokofiev score, each instrument represents a character.
October, 2021. Palace Cinemas (Barracks + James St) present the best new films from Italy each year. Screening in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and Byron Bay (in socially-distanced settings) and in Melbourne (as conditions permit). With Australian premieres, heartfelt dramas and hilarious comedies, cinemagoers will be transported to Rome, Naples, Palermo, and beyond.
October, 2021. Event cancelled last year, was to mark the 25th anniversary since Brisbears' official incorporation into a legal entity - the oldest official bear club in Australia.
