September 18 - October 3, 2021, Oktoberfest, the largest annual fair and beer garden in the world; over two weeks with over five million visitors, lots of beer & food. "GaySunday" at "Bräurosl" tent. See calendar of events.
November 14-20, 2021. Annual week by Internationale Münchner Filmwochen. One of the most important international festivals for emerging filmmakers. Typically 38 film schools from 22 nations take part. Festival Center: Filmmuseum, St-Jakobs-Platz 1, between Marienplatzand Sendlinger Tor. Tram stop (line 18): Reichenbachplatz.
February 27 - March 1, 2022. Final days of events, loud parties, masquerade balls, costume parties and parades. "Crazy Season" finale up until Shrove Tuesday, wraps up with the Dance of the Market Women in the Viktualienmarkt. Each previous year The Prince and Princess of Narshala are elected in the Kingdom of Fools, November 11th at 11:11am to begin another season.
August 6, 2022 (TBC), 1pm-midnight - annual street party and festival also known as Schwules Strassenfest. Stage performances, vendors, food and drinks, dancing in the street, 3pm until 10pm when the party moves over to the clubs. See FB and website below for details.
