June 23 - July 1, 2021, 9-day LGBT film festival, New Queer Cinema, one of France's most important festivals, at The Comœdia permanent screening room, special sessions at the Institut Lumière in 3 libraries, the Goethe Institute, Cine Mourguet and Washtub Public! October, 2021 (TBC), annual 9-day film festival, bringing films, artists, special guests and audiences to movie theaters in Lyon, with awards ceromonies and tributes to filmakers' works and careers. See the website for previous years and upcoming events.

November, 2021 (TBC), six days at Cinémas Le Méliès, Cinéma Espace Renoir, Cinéma Le Colisée, Ciné Chaplin, Cinéma La Capitelle, Cinémathèque de Tarentaize. 16th annual week-long festival screenings: feature-length + short LGBT films from around the world; original languages w/ Fr/ Eng subtitles. December 7-10 2021. Lyon becomes the Capital of Lights. Believing the city was saved from a 1643 plague by the Virgin Mary, the city erected her statue in 1852, and the city lit up with candles in windows. 4-day events include colored illumination of Basilica of Fourvière, fireworks, + place des Terreaux light show.

March 12-19, 2022, week at Tignes Ski Resort, France, near the Italian border. Skiing, snowboarding, aprés-ski hot tubs, gay film festival, DJs/ dance parties and after hours, cabaret, piano bar, games evenings, cocktail parties, pool party in "Le Lagon" and more.
