Artistic response to current identity political climate using art to bring people together to discuss/ question/ imagine alternative realities to normative societal frameworks; provide new perspectives/ ways to understand reality, a catalyst for collective imagining for better/ more just futures.

April 25, 2019, 6-9pm. Avant-garde in the hugs revolution. We all need touch. A safe space to be introduced to the "Cuddle Puddle" concept. Starting with individual meditation we arrive in our own bodies, then in small group exercises, cuddle and rub noses, focusing on mutual respect for boundaries and needs. Eventually we all get together. Challenge yourself! Not a sex party.
April 26, 2019, 7:30-10pm at Studenterhuset, Købmagergade 52. Event invites all queer activists and activist-minded people to dive deep into ACT UP and its work during the AIDS crisis. Watch the United in Anger documentary, followed by a talk (in English) with producer and longtime activist Professor Sarah Schulman who is interested in how queer activism operates in Denmark today.
May 1, 2019, 4pm-12am. Too long since the legendary Nørrebro Pride afterparty - time to gather communities for a huge red-themed party in the name of revolution/ resistance and working class power. Queer/Trans/Black/Indigenous/ People of Color acknowledge colonized womxn + femmes who came before + folx now fighting. Honor the resistance against colonialism and capitalism.
May 4, 2019, 8pm-3am. Følsom Front has been in the studio producing six newly recorded songs we look forward to sharing with you. Albums and merchandise sold at the party. Entry is donation-based and includes a CD (DKK 30-150). No one turned away at the door for lack of money. Bring all your good friends. Second act and DJs TBA.
May 10, 2019, 11pm-2am. A collaboration with TalkTown pop up event/ safespace for queers to get their hair done without being asked stupid questions or being misgendered. Cozy time with other queers warm-up for the weekend with new hair/ nails. Help with an undercut, hair trim or curls. Play boardgames, drink coffee, listen to music. A friendly place to hang, and chill out.
May 17, 2019, 7-9pm. Soundtrack for first kisses/ portal into infinity, w/ catchy electronic pop-hymns for + about love; powerful messages/ unique sound. The duo, known for their live shows that develop into orgiastic love parties, launch a love space ship, including the audience in a celebration of diversity. Concert will feature ambient set by DJ Picos + two sets by Feel Freeze. BYOB.

June 22-23, 2019. The St John's Eve celebration of Sankt Hans or Midsummer night is a popular Nordic tradition that takes place every year around the Summer Solstice, June 21st, the longest day of the year. The entire city celebrates, but the place you want to be is Amager Beach Park by Helgoland Baths.

August 13-18, 2019 - Saturday the 19th Parade and Pride Square shows, food and refreshments at Rainbow Square (Regnbuepladsen)/ Rådhuspladsen, City Hall Plaza to wrap up Pride Week 2019, a fully loaded week of events, and parties around town. Parade from Frederiksberg Town Hall at 1pm, via Vesterbrogade to Copenhagen City Hall Square.
September - October, 2019 at Cinemateket + other venues. Two weeks. Latest in cinematic breakthroughs each year. Sampling some of the best, bravest, most eye-opening films from around the world. Also paying tribute to new talent as 10 debuting directors compete for the New Talent Grand PIX award, and a 10,000 euro prize. Screenings of over 200 films, including some with LGBTQ themes.
October 25 - November 3, 2019 at Cinemateket. Annual 10-day LGBT film fest: the very best of international gay and queer films at the world's longest running gay and lesbian film festival. December 30-31, 2019 at DGI-Byen. Standard and latin competitions for male, female, and mixed couples + show dance competition for couples and groups. Spectators welcome. New Year’s Eve to be celebrated with a ballroom dance party with dinner and dancing.
