September 30 - October 10, 2021, VIFF Centre celebrates their 40th festival this fall with cinematic gems from from around the world and their own backyard. A dynamic program of films and events will stream on the VIFF Connect platform, and hopes for a full roster of in-cinema screenings at the newly renovated VIFF Centre and partner theatres.

July 23, 27 and 30, 2022, three nights at 10pm over English Bay. Vancouver's biggest event, the largest offshore fireworks competition in the world, attracting up to 400,000 spectators each evening. Operated by the Not For Profit Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society. 2021 events cancelled.
