Pink Iceland takes part in events all year round, adding its Pink touch to them. Whenever there is anything interesting going on Pink Iceland pops-up with fun tours, activities and micro events.
Every Thursday from 8pm at Samtökin '78, Suðurgata 3. Various activities include: DJ Night with Alda Villiljós/ Queer music; literature nights (part Icelandic/ part English); queer foreigners night; board game night; knitting night -- or simply coffee and a friendly chat. Third Wednesday each month from 6pm, Whatever Nights -- queer artists perform, open mic, etc.

May 19-23, 2021. Iceland’s annual design festival. Fashion to furniture, architecture to the environment, food to product design - the festival showcases the best of the local design scene alongside exciting international names. The festival opens with DesignTalks, a day of lectures by internationally acclaimed designers and leading local design thinkers. Next: March, 2022.

December 31, 2021. Almost every single person in the city takes a box of fireworks just before midnight to blow the old year to bits - then parties till dawn around community bonfires across the city. Kiki Queer Bar will also be having New Years Eve celebrations.
